The testing time for small diameter valves can be correspondingly shorter, while the testing time for large diameter valves can be correspondingly longer. During the testing process, if there are any doubts, the testing time can be extended. During the strength test, sweating or leakage is not allowed on the valve body and valve cover. Sealing test is generally only conducted once for valves, and twice for safety valves, high-pressure valves, and other essential valves. During the test, minor leakage is allowed for valves with low pressure and large diameter, as well as valves with specified allowable leakage; Due to the different requirements for general valves, power station valves, marine valves, and other valves, leakage requirements should be implemented in accordance with relevant regulations.

(10)具有上密封的閥門(mén)應(yīng)取出填料作密封性試驗(yàn)，上密封官合后，檢查是否滲漏。用氣體作試驗(yàn)時(shí)，在填料函中盛水檢查。作填料密封性試驗(yàn)時(shí)，不允許上密封處于密位置。

(10) Valves with upper seals should have their packing removed for a sealing test. After the upper seal is closed, check for leakage. When using gas for testing, check with water in the stuffing box. When conducting sealing tests on fillers, it is not allowed to have the upper seal in a tight position.

(11)凡具有驅(qū)動(dòng)裝置的閥門(mén)，試驗(yàn)其密封性時(shí)應(yīng)用驅(qū)動(dòng)裝置關(guān)閉閥門(mén)拮進(jìn)行密封性試驗(yàn)。對(duì)手動(dòng)驅(qū)動(dòng)裝置，還應(yīng)進(jìn)行用動(dòng)關(guān)閉閥門(mén)的密封試驗(yàn)。

(11) For valves with a driving device, the sealing test should be conducted by closing the valve with the driving device. For manual drive devices, a sealing test should also be conducted to manually close the valve.

(12)強(qiáng)度試驗(yàn)和密封性試驗(yàn)后裝在主閥上的旁通閥，在主閥進(jìn)行強(qiáng)度和密封性試驗(yàn);主閥關(guān)閉件打開(kāi)時(shí)，也應(yīng)隨之開(kāi)啟。

(12) The bypass valve installed on the main valve after strength and sealing tests shall undergo strength and sealing tests on the main valve; When the closing part of the main valve is opened, it should also be opened accordingly.

(13)鑄鐵閥門(mén)強(qiáng)度試驗(yàn)時(shí)，應(yīng)用銅錘輕敲閥體和閥蓋，檢查有否滲漏。

(13) When conducting strength tests on cast iron valves, a copper hammer should be used to lightly tap the valve body and cover to check for leaks.

(14)閥門(mén)進(jìn)行試驗(yàn)時(shí)，除旋塞閥有規(guī)定允許密封面涂油外，其他閥門(mén)不允許在密封面上涂油試驗(yàn)。

(14) When conducting tests on valves, except for plug valves where oil is allowed on the sealing surface, other valves are not allowed to apply oil on the sealing surface for testing.

(15)閥門(mén)試壓時(shí)，盲板對(duì)閥門(mén)的壓緊力不宜過(guò)大，以免閥門(mén)產(chǎn)生變形，影響試驗(yàn)效果(鑄鐵閥門(mén)如果壓得過(guò)緊，還會(huì)破損)。

(15) During valve pressure testing, the pressure of the blind plate on the valve should not be too large to avoid deformation and affect the test effect (if the cast iron valve is pressed too tightly, it may also be damaged).

(16)閥門(mén)試壓完畢后，應(yīng)及時(shí)排除閥內(nèi)積水并擦干凈，還應(yīng)作好試驗(yàn)記錄。

(16) After the pressure test of the valve is completed, the accumulated water inside the valve should be promptly drained and wiped clean, and test records should be kept.
